OLUWATIMI ORIN LABII (real name Oluwatimilehin Adebayo Williams), born on December 28, 2003, is one of the youngest and most promising artistes in the Nigerian music industry today. Born into a rich musical lineage, OLUWATIMI is the son of Oluwafemi Moses Ajide, a former music industry manager to legendary juju icon King Sunny Ade during the late 1970s and 1980s. True to the saying that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree, OLUWATIMI began nurturing his passion for music at the tender age of six, singing in his church’s children’s choir and performing at birthday parties and fun-fair events.
Growing up, he was heavily influenced by timeless greats such as Fela Anikulapo Kuti, Femi Kuti, Lagbaja, King Sunny Ade, Buju Banton, Bob Marley, 2Pac, and DMX. He also draws inspiration from modern icons including 2Face Idibia, D’banj, Ice Prince, Seun Kuti, X Project, Mode 9, and Sauce Kid. These diverse influences are evident in OLUWATIMI’s bold sound and cheeky, conscious lyricism.
In 2015, during his early days in polytechnic, OLUWATIMI decided to take what was once a hobby more seriously.
